Battlegrounds Mobile India is getting a huge update for July 2021, including new weapons and game modes. Here’s everything you need to know about the new July update and the patch notes of BGMI.
New Weapon Updates
The rare LMG M249 is excluded from airdrops now; you can just find them on the ground like any other weapon. And a new LMG weapon called MG3 replaces M249 in the supply crate; it uses 7.62mm ammo and supports up to 6x scope. A new assault rifle, ASM Abakan added in the new game mode called Mission Ignition.
New Features
- Healing consumables are now throwable and can be equipped in the trajectory slot. Yeah, you can throw a first aid kit to your teammates.
- A new tier is added between ‘ACE’ and ‘Conqueror’ tiers, and the symbols or logos of the tiers get a complete revamp.
- Challenge point system added to the ranking season.
- With the new Tactical marking device, players can check the direction of teammates’ firings, enemy location, and street information.
- Rigid irreplaceable Riot shields will be available in the high-tech city.
- Auto-pickup will temporarily pause when using healing items.
- When the weapon you’re using is out of ammo, it’ll automatically switch to the second weapon. Also, different colors added to showcase the remaining ammo in the load – turns yellow on 25% or below and red below 10%.
- The update cycle for royal pass changed from 2 months to 1 month.
New Game Mode: Mission Ignition
Mission Ignition mode will be available to play in Erangel map during specific periods. The mode includes six high-tech regions in certain areas in Erangel. Such as Transit center, Georgopool, Tech center, Sosnovka security center, Logistics Agency, and Energy Center.
While dropping from the ship, you can clearly view new-gen cities’ names as they pop up as 3D text. Additionally, players can now drop to the pinned area automatically.
The puppy icon on the mini-map takes you to a patrol dog. Activating it, the dog will follow you and scan for rare loot, making it easy for you to find.
New HyperLine travel vehicles will run on pre-set routes; you can board from train stations marked on the map.
In addition, some Autonomous Semi-trucks run on set routes. Shoot and destroy these trucks will reward you with a supply crate that can be looted.
The new G-38 gravity-free motorcycle can go on both ground and water; it’s a must-try. An air conveyor will be available as a transportation tool for two players; players can fly and land on other places in the mid-match.
New In-Game Settings
Battlegrounds mobile India brings the hugest update in July; it is the biggest one since its release. In addition to the above details, BGMI is also getting some revamps to the settings. As there is no BGMI Lite version, a new graphic setting lower than ‘Smooth’ is added to the settings menu. BGMI added 90 FPS to more supported devices now.
