If you’re looking for something new to play on PS4 or PS5 this weekend, there are 9 games to grab for free. Sony has released nine PlayStation 4 games to grab for free on the PS Store for a limited time. The free games are part of Sony’s Play At Home initiative, which was initially kicked off earlier in March with a free copy of Ratchet & Clank.
The games are already available now and will stay until April 22 at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET. The nine free games also include the games playable on PSVR. Check out the complete list below.

- Enter the Gungeon
- Rez Infinite
- Subnautica
- The Witness
- Astro Bot Rescue Mission
- Moss
- Thumper
- Paper Beast
Out of these 9 games, four support PlayStation VR (PSVR): Paper Beast, Thumper, Moss, and Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
Along with these games, Sony has also announced that Horizon: Zero Dawn (Complete Edition) will be available for free from April 19 onwards.
In February, Sony kicked off the Play at Home initiative, making the 2016 Ratchet & Clank reboot free for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. Players can still download it until March 31.
It true that all these games that are given away for free are small-scaled indie games. However, all of these games have exceptional and worthy ratings. Their innovative and experimental approach to game design can put these in must grab section.
Every game on this list is playable on PlayStation 5, thanks to the system’s backward compatibility.
