Niantic is to celebrate the end of the Season of Mischief with the Pokemon GO Mischief Unbound event. Hoopa is again showcasing its mischief as Unbound form by bringing special raid hours and spotlight hours to Pokemon GO. The new form, raids, special research, bonuses, and more are coming. So for you to get things ready, here’s everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Friday, November 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM to Monday, November 29, 2021, at 8:00 PM [local time].
Mischief Unbound Special Research
You’ll be able to access the Special Research story called “Mischief Unbound” by completing the Season-long Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story on or before December 1 at 9:59 AM local time.
If trainers can’t complete the ongoing Misunderstood Mischief Special Research before the deadline, they can purchase the Mischief Unbound special research in the shop for US $4.99 (or equivalent pricing in a currency based on the trainer’s location)
Hoopa Unbound Form in Pokemon GO
Trainers can change Hoopa’s form after the completion of a few tasks in Mischief Unbound Special Research.
- Changing Hoopa’s form from Hoopa Confined to Hoopa Unbound requires 50 Hoopa Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
- Changing Hoopa’s form from Hoopa Unbound to Hoopa Confined requires 10 Hoopa Candy and 2,000 Stardust.
Event-exclusive Raid Hours
During all the days in the event time frame, the Raid hours will begin from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM [local time]. The following Pokémon will occupy more gyms during the raid hours:
- Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres: November 26
- Heatran: November 27
- Regirock, Regice, and Registeel: November 28
- Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion: November 29
Event-exclusive Spotlight Hours
During all the days in the event time frame, the Spotlight hours will begin from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM [local time]. The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the spotlight hours:
- Rattata: November 26
- Sableye: November 27
- Pikachu: November 28
- Beldum: November 29
