Niantic is bringing yet another Community Day for October to Pokemon GO.  The October Community Day features Duskull, the Ghost-type Requiem Pokémon. It’s a great chance for trainers to catch a Shiny Duskull as the chances are high on a Community Day. They can also evolve it to learn the event-exclusive move and take advantage of in-game bonuses. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.

Date + Time

Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time].

It is a six-hour time frame. But, you can still get an exclusive move with evolution, up to two hours afterward, that is 7:00 PM [local time].

The Ghost-type Pokémon Duskull is the featured Pokémon of October Community Day 2021. Duskull will appear more frequently in the wild during the event. If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter a Shiny Duskull ✨. It’s an excellent opportunity for trainers to catch better and/or Shiny Duskull.

Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

Exclusive Move

If you evolve Dusclops (Duskull’s Evolution) into Dusknoir in the event time or up to two hours afterward, the Pokémon evolves knowing the Ultimate Charged Ghost-type Exclusive Move – Shadow Ball.

👻 Don’t get startled, but October’s #PokemonGOCommunityDay will feature Duskull, the Requiem Pokémon, on October 9! Save the date! https://t.co/cOHg3nJQlK pic.twitter.com/7tx9nxbiax

Pokémon GO Duskull Community Day Special Research

On this month’s Community Day, Niantic offers an event-exclusive special research story called “Nothin’ Dull About Duskull”. Access to this special research story will be available in the in-game shop for US$1.

Other Bonuses

In addition to Duskull’s frequent encounters, Niantic will be bringing few bonuses too.

  • A giveaway of 30 Ultra Balls in the shop for free. Be sure to take it.
  • Trainers get three times the Catch Stadust than usual (3x Catch Stardust) during the event period.
  • The Incense used during the event will remain active for three hours rather than the usual one hour.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.

Dusknoir evolution requires Sinnoh Stone. Niantic brings a Timed Research during the Duskull Community Day. Completing it will reward you with 4 Sinnoh Stones and other rewards.

Additionally, there’ll be a one-time purchase of the Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins. That includes 50 Ultra Balls, 4 Star Pieces, 4 Incense, and an Elite Charged TM.
