Niantic is bringing new Pokémon Inkay and Malamar to Pokemon GO during the Psychic Spectacular event. Season of Mischief has just started, and Psychic Spectacular, a psychic-type themed event, is the first event of the season. The event features several psychic-type Pokémon, raids, and other bonuses. Niantic mentioned that Inkay will only evolve under unique circumstances.
Inkay will evolve only under unique circumstances. Trainers who have journeyed through the Kalos region in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y may have an inkling as to what those circumstances might be.
