Reliance Jio partnered with Google has finally announced their made-for-India affordable 4G smartphone JioPhone Next. Its initial announcement was made back in June, and the release kept on delay due to several reasons, including global chip shortage. However, the device is out and currently available to get for INR 1,999 + monthly EMIs.

JioPhone Next Specifications

The JioPhone Next comes with a 5.45-inch HD 60Hz refresh rate display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an anti-fingerprint coating. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215 processor and Adreno 308 GPU. It offers Dual SIM (4G + 4G) connectivity, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.1. JioPhone Next comes in only one storage option — 32 GB Storage and 2 GB RAM. It accommodates a 3500 mAh removable battery and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device runs on Pragati OS, an optimized version of Android created by Google.

Talking about cameras, JioPhone Next comes with a 13 MP Rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Both can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. In addition, these cameras offer all the necessary features such as HDR Mode, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Photo, Video, Translate, Timer settings.

JioPhone Next Price and Availability

The official cost of JioPhone Next is INR 6,499. But the finance options help you own it at just INR 1,999 and with monthly EMI for 18 months or 24 months, which includes Jio call and data services. So if you’re paying EMIs, you don’t need to recharge your device separately. Check out the finance options below; you should choose the options based on how much data you require per day or month.
