Marvel Studios has revealed the star cast of its upcoming Disney+ MCU series Secret Invasion. The cast includes returning MCU actors Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Cobie Smulders.
The original Marvel’s Secret Invasion comic was first published in 2008. It dealt with a conspiracy involving Skrull agents shape-shift to various heroes and villains to help the Skrull Empire take over the planet. So it is possible the episodes of the upcoming Secret Invasion series mostly revolve around Fury and Talos’ explorations into a cosmic conspiracy.
Along with some previous MCU actors, some new names are entering the Marvel Universe. There has been a rumor that says Game of Thrones’ one of the lead actor Emilia Clarke could make her arrival into MCU. It turns out to be true. Emilia Clarke will be part of MCU’s upcoming Secret Invasion series. After Kit Harington and Richard Madden in Marvel’s Eternals, it’s good to see more GOT actors coming to Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ben Mendelsohn will return as Skrull leader Talos. Previously, he appeared in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home’s end-credit scene.
Emilia Clarke
Last year, some reports claimed that the Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke was in final negotiations to join the cast of Secret Invasion. Later, she confirmed in an interview that she would be making her debut in MCU with an upcoming Disney+ series. However, the character she is playing in Secret Invasion is still under the wrap.
Olivia Colman
The Oscar-winner Olivia Colman is also joining the upcoming Nick Fury-focused Disney+ series. The British actress is known for portraying Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown Netflix series, which brought her an Academy Award in 2018 for Best Actress.
Kingsley Ben-Adir
Reportedly, Kingsley Ben-Adir also joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel’s Secret Invasion series. Sources claim that Kingsley Ben-Adir will be playing one of the lead villains on the show.
Killian Scott
In addition, Deadline reported that Killian Scott had joined the cast of Marvel’s Secret Invasion series in a yet to announce role.
Christopher McDonald
According to Deadline, Christopher McDonald has also reportedly signed to appear in the series as a “newly created” character, with the potential to “cross over to the larger MCU” by appearing in movies and other Disney+ limited series.
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Cobie Smulders is set to return to the MCU as Maria Hill, the former Deputy Director of SHIELD.
