Marvel and Disney Plus, after the massive success of their first web series WandaVision, are planning for a Spin-Off. This Spin-Off will star Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the villain of WandaVision. The show is reportedly in development and might be having some black comedy. WandaVision creator and the head writer Jac Schaeffer will write the story and serve as an executive producer for this show.
Variety’s report has been first posted, but apart from the lead role and writer, there is not much information about the series. WandaVision Spin-Off will be the first project by Schaeffer after the contract set up with Marvel and Disney Plus for three years. There is no official confirmation from Hahns or Schaeffer or from Marvel to this news from Variety.
In WandaVision, Hahn has played the role of Agnes and Agatha Harkness. Both these characters have a contrasting characterization as Agnes is a friendly noisy neighbour. In contrast, Agatha is a witch that is so powerful to have been an excellent match for Wanda, a.k.a Scarlet Witch. In the final episode of the WandaVision, Agatha has been trapped in West View as Agnes persona.
If this series is in the works, there is one more Spin-Off or continuation of Vision character. As per the timeline, Vision is dead, but in the WandaVision series, you can observe a new Vision in White that has just disappeared to the sky. According to some news sources, they seem to be another Spin-Off from Marvel on the series Hawkeye. Hawkeye’s trailer is already out and will be available from November 24th only on Disney Plus.
