Reliance Jio Launches a ‘Made in India’ browser
After Jio’s launch of Jio Meet, it is ready with yet another mobile app. Jio Pages, typically a browser that concentrates on terms such as Safe, Fast, and Powerful; as they mentioned it. The features include regional language support, quick links, easy sharing, download manager, and voice search. We can save pages offline. Also, it brings the latest news and videos. Considering all these, the size of the application is just 3.6MB; which makes it one of the lightest browsers.
“While keeping privacy at the core of the browser, JioPages provides superior performance when compared to its peers. It is built on the powerful Chromium Blink engine, it provides an enhanced browsing experience through faster engine migration, best-in-class webpage rendering, faster page loads, efficient media streaming, Emoji domain support, and encrypted connection,” the company said.
Netflix to bring 48-hour free trial to India in December
After removing its free trials, Netflix is in plans to bring a 2-day free trial in the name of StreamFest. Reportedly, Netflix is starting this campaign in India from December 4. Greg Peters, Chief Operating Officer at Netflix announced a free weekend trial promotion to start with the Indian market.
“We think that giving everyone in a country access to Netflix for free for a weekend could be a great way to expose a bunch of new people to the amazing stories that we have,”

According to Protocol, although this StreamFest is free to watch, it has its limitations. Titles or watch time limitations, we know nothing yet but the limitations well expected. Also, Netflix could allow this StreamFest trail for limited people for testing.

AOC played Among Us streaming it on Twitch to encourage voting
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the US Representative, NY-14 (BX & Queens). She is the youngest woman ever to be elected to congress. Yesterday (October 22), AOC played Among Us and streamed it on twitch, and that was great. Over 400,000 users streamed on Twitch yesterday while she was playing. She played with some famous names that include Myth, pokimanelol, mxmtoon, hasanabi, Disguised Toast, DrLupo, Jacksepticeye and Ilhan Oma. Anyway, that was a great game-play as well as a great voting campaign. It went pretty well and this new way of encouraging voting is a unique approach and fabulous, mostly for these COVID situations.
