Truecaller introduces Call Reason feature:

Call Reason truecaller

Truecaller is the most famous app for identifying an unknown number when we get a call(If the other person also has an account or name added by existing users). The company has a new feature to the Caller ID known as Call Reason. The Call Reason is to show users the reason why someone is calling or vice versa on the Caller ID. The update has been rolled to most of the Android users throughout the world.

According to the blog on the Truecaller website, this feature has been introduced because most users were asking for this update. It has been 10 years since Truecaller was introduced at that it told us who called us know it has moved a step further by telling why someone is calling us. The company hopes that the call pick-up rate may increase with this. The application also now has a full-screen Called ID which we can enable from the settings menu. The company also says that 2021 will have more great updates in order to provide its services.

This feature really seems great as we can know why someone is calling us even before we lift the call. But this feature only works if both the users have the latest version of the Truecaller app.

PUBG Corp Hiring in India:

PUBG Corporation, developer and publisher of the world’s famous multiplayer battle royale game is looking to hire an associate-level manager in India. After this post, many people got excited because many thought it was a comeback of the PUBG mobile game which was banned earlier last month. As per the job description on Linkedin, it requires a person who can develop strategies for mergers and acquisitions and investments with a focus on the Indian market.

This was considered by some as a return of PUBG Mobile to India. However, the job mentions only PUBG Corp and not PUBG Mobile. PUBG is still available in India but only on PC and Consoles. Krafton Union Games is thinking to build a good platform for the PUBG game in India. Krafton is still finding a way to come back to the Indian market after the ban of the mobile version. But the government of India is still silent about their decision regarding the un-ban of PUBG Mobile. Earlier there were reports that Krafton Union has met Airtel to come back to India.

Minecraft will require a Microsoft account from 2021:

All the Minecraft gamers from the past six years were able to play without any Microsoft account. This is going to change from 2021 as it is mandatory to have a Microsoft account to play the game. According to the official blog from Minecraft, all those who own the game and don’t switch to a Microsoft account will not be able to play.

The game has two versions since the 2011 launch on consoles. The original game Minecraft: Java Edition requires a Mojang account while Minecraft: Bedrock Edition requires Microsoft edition. After this everyone will be using only one account but no crossplay is possible.

Mojang also says users won’t lose their details after this and will have two-factor authentication for login. Users will be getting emails regarding this in batches from the coming weeks.
