One of the most famous third party application for YouTube is the YouTube Vanced app. The app has been discontinued after getting a legal threat from Google. The creators of the application gave the announcement yesterday via a Tweet. The creators of the app have said YouTube Vanced will be completely shut down in the coming days.
The link to download the app will be down in a few days. For those who already have the app installed it will be working on Android but will not get any update. As there will be no update it is going to be stopped at one point. The reason given by the owners of the YouTube Vanced app is “due to legal reasons”.
If you haven’t heard about Vanced, it is a popular third-party YouTube app for Android. This Android app will let you watch videos in YouTube without any ads just like the premium users without paying anything. YouTube Vanced also has some features that are not present in the official Android version.

Google is yet to comment on the shut down of the YouTube Vanced app. The present version of the app will be working until the next update that is like 2 years or less. It does mean you can still use the old application until it is outdated.
