Sony in a video shows a demo of how the UI for the next-gen PlayStation 5 will be like. The PlayStation 5 is available from November 12th in other parts of the world and November 19th in India. The UI is different from its previous PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 5 UI is built to take advantage of the 4K displays.

Sony shows a walkthrough of the new UI in an 11-minute video. The console like the PlayStation 4 came with some pre-installed and available games in its own hubs.  As soon as you power on you will have a PlayStation Logo blinking with a “Press the PS button on your controller” message.  As you come to the main screen you have different modes, PlayStation Store, and some games. This time we have a separate section for the media menu that is separated from the main menu.

There are some new features added to the next-gen console. In the walkthrough, there we can see a demo of Sackboy: A Big Adventure resuming from where he has left the game. We also have a small hub where it shows all the Key Objectives and Percentage of the mission you have started. Another great update is that the game itself has a video guide that helps you complete the mission without us going to google or youtube to watch the guide. The video can also be in PiP or Side mode while you are still playing the game.

Full Video of the Walkthrough:

Playing with friends is always fun and now you can join or host a party within the PlayStation 5. The DualSense Controller has an in-built mic with which you can talk to friends. There is another great feature of screen sharing with friends at the party. You can watch the stream in PiP mode or side view and still continue playing your game. Multiplayer gaming is something that we all love and this is also easy in the new PlayStation 5 UI. You can even take screenshots in the game which now supports up to 4K. These screenshots can be later edited or shared to social media or in the party group from the console.

So that’s it for now, Thank you for reading and please do share the article within your circles if you loved reading it. Also, keep an eye on this space to get relevant updates.

Stay home safe, keep playing games until the next-gen console comes out hope we see you around.
