Google’s latest Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are in serious trouble. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro are the phones to have companies first in-house chip inside the smartphone. The phone has received some good compliments from reviewers and users. But the phone has issues in both hardware and software, some of which have been solved, and some are yet to be addressed. Recently, many users reported random screen cracks on their Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

An initial report was done by AndroidPolice, where they found various situations where the screen was cracked. The report suggests that these cracks are occurring due to manufacturing defects. The body of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro has been built such that it is exerting pressure on the display glass that results in cracking.

There were situations where users got cracks while charging their Pixel 6 phones. Some users have reported cracks while their Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro was in their pockets. These cracks did appear even when users had been using the official Google Pixel 6 cases.

Multiple users are reporting the issue over Reddit and Google support. Google hasn’t officially passed any statements regarding this issue. They are still looking at the reason for these random cracks. If it is a manufacturing issue, it would be interesting to see whether Google recalls these phones and replaces them for free. It would be sad to see if Google doesn’t recall the device; Pixel 6 users should use their own money. If it is not a manufacturing issue, users should replace it themselves.

So, that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
