Micromax has been teasing its comeback for the past few months. Finally, yesterday Micromax announced their new “In” series on their Twitter account.

Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax featured in the video. And explained the rise and fall of Micromax. He also mentioned that Chinese companies are the reason.

They are inspired by Indian Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign. And Rahul said how that encouraged him to revive the Indian homegrown smartphone brand.

He shows the “In” series retail box in the video stating IndiaKeLiye.

Rahul Sharma in an interview with YouTuber Technical Guruji stated that the “In” series will be performance-oriented and are targeted gamers. The UI will be very near to stock android. He confirmed that these phones will not show ads in the UI and comes with no bloatware pre-installed.

Micromax In 1A is listed in Geekbench and is coming with a MediaTek Helio P35 or G35 chipset and Android 10 out of the box.

With the ‘In‘ series, Micromax seems to be concentrating on the price segment of INR 7000 to INR 15000. They are going to release in early November, according to Rahul Sharma.

We all are aware of how Micromax was being India’s top company. Good times for Micromax ended when Chinese smartphones brought better features at lowers price. Indian homegrown brand existence is very crucial at this moment. Micromax’s revival will be well supported in that sense and they are ready to give their best for Indian consumers. Let’s hope it gets its place back again.
