OnePlus phones have always been known for their customizability. The OxygenOS was known for its personalization, and it delivered a great stock experience for a long time. Lately, they are approaching to use custom skins. With OxygenOS 11, the UI is not near to stock Android experience anymore. However, likes and dislikes apart, they’re doing well. Now they are bringing a custom OnePlus Theme Store with the next major update, OxygenOS 12.
If you’re using a OnePlus phone, take it as good news. Cause’ apart from all the customization options that OxygenOS already offers, you’re getting a proper Theme Store.
The announcement first appeared in OnePlus forums; the company announced adding a Theme Store to OxygenOS with the next major OS update: OxygenOS 12.
In the meanwhile, the company decided to host an Online Open Ears Forum a.k.a OEF. They said the event will be online due to COVID-19. And also, they wish that offline OEF have to be postponed until it’s 100% secure outside.
The OEF will go live on May 18 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM IST (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST). You can join the event to discuss and share feedback on the upcoming feature: Theme Store. One can apply to participate in the OEF through the OnePlus forums or by clicking here. You can only apply on or before May 12; it is the deadline.
The selected members can join the discussion. Those selected members will also receive a goodie bag contains a Hasselblad postcard, an OEF pin, and a T-shirt from OnePlus.
