Director James Gunn Drops Another The Suicide Squad Trailer

It's a Rebellion Trailer, as they mention; utterly different from the Red Band Trailer.

Writer-Director James Gunn revealed a new The Suicide Squad Trailer on his Twitter. This upcoming August film has its first trailer full of laughs merely less than a week ago. And in no time, the second came; this one seems a bit serious. However, it’s happy to see the completely different cutscenes of the movie.

Although it’s April Fool’s, the only joke here is on the supervillains who agreed to work for Amanda Waller. Brand new #TheSuicideSquad trailer which dropped last night exclusively in theaters! Meet us in theaters August 6! pic.twitter.com/FwbtANOXEX

James Gunn said in a tweet that he “was firm in not wanting to make two trailers exactly the same. That bugs me when they do that”.

“If we’re going to ask fans to watch TWO, let’s give them a reason to do so, focusing on different aspects of our film,” he added.

The Suicide Squad will release in theatres and as well as HBO Max on August 6. Various promotional videos have been arriving online, and we can expect to see even more in the upcoming months.

This is a gritty 1970’s war movie

James Gunn made few statements about the movie previously, which raised the fans’ expectations to another level. He said, “this gonna be different from any superhero movie ever made.” He also added, “This is by far the biggest movie I’ve ever made.”

The Characters:

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, John Cena as Peacemaker, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Nathan Fillion as T.D.K, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2, Flula Borg as Javelin, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Sean Gunn as Weasel, Alice Braga as Solsoria, Peter Capaldi as Thinker, Michael Rooker as Savant, Mayling Ng as Mongal, Juan Diego Botto as Silvio “El Presidente” Luna, Storm Reid as Bloodsport’s daughter Tyla, and Steve Agee as the voice of King Shark.

So that’s been it. Thank you for watching, and do share the article for more relevant updates. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
