A Star Wars story, The Book of Boba Fett is a legacy of a legend. It’s an original series streaming all seven episodes exclusively on Disney+. Written and Created by Jon Favreau, The Book of Boba Fett is a great watch to know more about Boba Fett in a live-action. Although the first few episodes concentrate more on Boba Fett, the story diversifies to different characters as it nears the end. Before we get into Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett review Review, let’s read the synopsis and info of episodes.

By the way, I want to write this review with a spoiler-free promise so that you won’t get any kind of data from the original story except the synopsis. I merely share my opinion in the review. So rest assured and read the complete review.

Synopsis

The official synopsis reads, “The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”

The Book of Boba Fett takes us back to memorable Tatooine. The story takes place approximately nine years after the events of A New Hope, or 9 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin); The same year The Mandalorian Season 2 took place, but The Book of Boba Fett happens later to that. The Book of Boba Fett Season 1 features the events when Boba Fett takes control of Mos Espa, whereas the Pyke syndicate also wants to run the spice through which Boba Fett opposes.

Opinion

The Book of Boba Fett is an eye feast of plain drama to watch. I loved watching it, and my favorite part is the scenes with Tusken Raiders. The emotions are well captured. The sign language and the understanding between the Tuskens and Boba Fett are remarkably portrayed.

One thing that requires very special attention and mention, which I love the most and probably the same with whoever watches The Book of Boba Fett. The music, the score of the series is excellent; wonderful is a smaller word for that. The traditional concept art slideshow is at the end of The Mandalorian episodes, that works really well for Boba Fett too, and the score gives life to that. The Book of Boba Fett score was created by Ludwig Göransson, who also made the stunning “The Mandalorian” music score. I’m attaching an embed below, but if you can, try to listen to it directly on Spotify to listen from the beginning of the track.

Talking about the visuals, I don’t need to say how stunning they are when I’m talking about a Star Wars live-action. Tatooine, Tuskens, Mos Espa, all the people, and environments are created so well, so as I mentioned earlier, it’s an eye feast for Star Wars fans. And talking about the cast, some of them are well-known for their performances in previous Star Wars stories, so yeah, the cast performances are absolutely outstanding.

The screenplay play worked really well for the series. It’s not too straight and not too clumsy; it’s a well-designed screenplay and plays a significant role in storytelling. The direction, of course, is fabulous too.

The story we see is so engaging in parts and kind of straight in some parts. However, it did not fail to tell the story of a Legend in an excellent way. How engaging if you ask, you’re gonna binge watch it.

One last thing, I would add to my opinion, that it the story concentration on Boba Fett. I agree that you see more of him in the first few episodes, but the story concentrates more on other aspects as well. Of course, all those aspects lead the way to Boba Fett, but somehow I feel like there should be more of Boba Fett and his legacy to see in Season 1. Let’s hope Season 2 fills with it.

Verdict

In conclusion to Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett review, this is the verdict I feel like writing. I would say, The Book of Boba Fett opens the door for more Star Wars films to show up in the future. Some key elements in the series can expand to get more Star Wars live-action content. However, The Book of Boba Fett Season 1 is a must-watch and engaging, mainly for Star Wars fans. The music score is exceptional; the screenplay and storytelling did a remarkable job.

On the whole, you’ll enjoy both Boba Fett’s legacy and Star Wars story in the same series. It opens a lot of ways for the future of Star Wars movies, or series could take place.

Here’s the score I feel Iike giving to the entire season 1 of Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett. You can go through the score and its breakdown below.

So that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
