US ban is the biggest nightmare that Huawei ever had. Cut from Google Play Services, cut from chip sales, cut from 5G infrastructure, and allegedly even more. After all these stabs, Huwaei still exists in the market with a better market share. Better than before for real. It is possible for a company like that with huge RnD but not that easy though.

Finally, some good news hitting Huawei these days. Recently, Samsung won a US nod to sell display panels to Huawei. Samsung makes the best smartphone display panels in the market. Their AMOLED display panels are like a “must be” thing for a consumer before buying a smartphone. This allowance to ship display panels is great news for Huawei. Previously, Huawei used BOE display panels to manufacture their phones. So this US nod for Samsung won’t change the situation of Huawei much. But, the well-known Samsung panels can help Huawei.

Another good news hit Huwaei. According to a Financial Times report, the US gave allowance to chip companies to supply components to Huawei. But with a regulation that Huawei should not use those components for their 5G infrastructure business. The US government’s most recent restriction is Huawei should not be sourced with any hardware that uses US technologies. As per these restrictions, Huawei lost its chip manufacturer TSMC. And when it happened, we thought it is the end of its own processor line up called Kirin. But the recent allowance for chip sales is not looking like it’s the end of Kirin processors yet.

The recent relaxations for Huawei are showing that the US is slowly lifting the restrictions and that gives hope that it can get out of the ban. And that’s good news for Huawei revival and it’s potential to gain the best market share worldwide.
