JioBook powered by JioOS based on Android 11 spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek MT8788 SoC and 2GB RAM. Previously, JioBook laptop was spotted on on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with models numbers NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM. Out of these, the “NB1112MM” variant of JioBook has now been spotted on Geekbench, revealing the key specifications of the laptop.

JioBook Specifications (leaked)

As spotted by MySmartPrice, JioBook with NB1112MM model number has made a debut on Geekbench. The laptop with this particular model number is powered by MediaTek MT8788 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. Reportedly, the scores of the model are 1,178 points in single-core and 4,246 points in multi-core tests.

The listing suggests that the device runs on Android 11. However, an earlier leak claimed that the JioBook laptop will run a custom JioOS on top of Android. And now, we know that JioBook will run on Android 11 with a custom skin JioOS.

According to XDA Developers, Jio laptop (JioBook) will feature an HD (1,366×768 pixels) display. The JioBook with 2GB RAM models are likely to accommodate 32GB of eMMC storage.  A wild assumptions is that there could be a higher variant with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. So, let’s just wait and see.

In addition, JioBook is expected to come with apps such as JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages pre-installed along with Microsoft apps such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Edge, and Office.

As JioBook crossed the BIS certification and Geekbench listing, it seems the launch is imminent and very close. However, there is no official announcement from Jio as of now, we’ll update you when it does.

So that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit piece of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
