This article was based on the leaks from the tipster Mukul Sharma. According to him, Nothing is planning to launch their upcoming phone in early 2022. We might be able to see a Nothing Phone (1) and a Nothing Power (1) soon.
Nothing when started by Carl Pei, he mentioned multiple times about the ecosystem. Their first product was TWS earbuds that had ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) at an affordable price. The Nothing ear 1 has an innovative design that stands out from the crowd with a transparent design. Since the launch, there have been no words about the following product that they are working on. A few days back, they announced a partnership with Qualcomm to use their Snapdragon mobile platform in their upcoming devices. This gave hints to many that Nothing is now targetting the smartphone market.
If the naming convention is considered, the upcoming phone will be Nothing Phone (1). Nothing doesn’t need to start from scratch as they have got some experience in the smartphone market. The founder of this startup was also a co-founder of the OnePlus smartphone. Apart from that, Nothing has also acquired an Essential phone company. Essential though didn’t have a successful journey in the smartphone market; they did try to stand out. Now with Carl Pei on their side, they might be able to bring a transparent smartphone.
The concept of a transparent smartphone isn’t something new as in the TWS. There are multiple smartphone makers like Xiaomi and Red Magic who did make a transparent smartphone in the past. But they haven’t been revealed to the global smartphone market. This allows Nothing to launch the first-ever transparent smartphone globally with Nothing Phone (1).
Apart from the Nothing Phone (1), the tipster also mentioned working on a power bank. This power bank will be called Nothing Power (1). Nothing plans to launch the Nothing Power (1) way before the Nothing Phone (1). If this news is accurate, then we are just weeks away from an official announcement from Nothing.
