List of 5G Smartphone Devices with Snapdragon 888 launching in 2021

Mi, Oppo, ZTE, Samsung, Realme, and few more smartphone brands are in the race to launch their 5G devices powered by Snapdragon 888 next year.

Qualcomm has recently unveiled its new flagship chipset Snapdragon 888, in a virtual Tech Summit. This most powerful Android chipset is to power the most powerful Android devices coming next year. And the smartphone manufacturers have already announced their upcoming smartphone devices and their plans to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. We made a list out of those announcements; take a look if you plan to buy one.

Realme Race

During the Snapdragon 888 launch event, Real me has taken Twitter to announce its upcoming smartphone with Snapdragon 888. Folks at GSMArena found an ‘About phone’ screenshot where the chipset name is mentioned and posted a picture of how the actual device looks like.

Mi 11 Series

Xiaomi has taken Twitter to confirm its upcoming Mi 11 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

Leijun, Founder, CEO, speaks about how power is the new Snapdragon 888, and their plans to feature it with their upcoming smartphone devices. Renders are already out, and Gadgets360 has recently posted one.

Redmi K40 Pro

Lu Weibing, GM at Redmi, quoted the Mi 11 series announcement and mentioned that Redmi plans to equip Snapdragon 888 in its upcoming smartphone; rumor is it’s Redmi K40 Pro.

Oppo Find X3

Oppo Find X3 smartphone with Snapdragon 888

Oppo, in an official press release, announced that OPPO to become one of the first manufacturers to release 5G flagship smartphone devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

Lenovo Legion

Lenovo has taken Weibo to announce its upcoming smartphone under its gaming segment Legion. The Lenovo Legion gaming phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 will launch in 2021. Recently, Lenovo scheduled an announcement for December 9 to introduce its ‘Lemon K12 Series’.

ZTE Axon 30

ZTE has officially announced its new upcoming smartphone with Snapdragon 888 5G mobile chipset. They teased a poster of Axon 30 on their Weibo wall. It is the successor to the company’s recently launched Axon 20, which is the world’s first under-display camera.

Nubia Z & Red Magic 6

Nubia showcased a poster on Weibo. The company is launching two phones; one under the Numbia brand called Nubia Z, and the other one is under its gaming sub-brand Red Magic called Red Magic 6.

Meizu 18 Series

Meizu has announced its new smartphone devices are coming soon in spring of 2021 and equipped with Snapdragon 888. Their previous line-up is the Meizu 17 series, launched in the spring of 2020. It seems like they love spring than any other smartphone brand. However, that’s a great time for launches.

Predictions

Other than the above list, few more brands expected to launch their flagship smartphone devices with the new Snapdragon 888 chipset. Brands such as OnePlus, LG, Asus, Sony, and Motorola are the ones with rumored or leaked models that feature Snapdragon 888.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Z Fold 3 may also equip Snapdragon 888 in it, rumor says. However, there is no official note from Samsung on its OEM; but things may work as expected.
