Samsung posted an event invitation with the name “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan”. This event will be available at 10:30 AM ET or 7:30 PM IST on September 23. Samsung is most likely to announce Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) in this web event can stream on the Samsung website or YouTube.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to be the successor of the S10 Lite of last year; to take over the S Lite lineup. It is coming in six color variants as the teaser video shows the same. In its invitation post, Samsung said that it has developed a special relationship with Galaxy fans around the world over the years. Their valuable feedback has helped create exciting innovations and made mobile experiences better for everyone. There were many leaks that went on from the past 3 months about the fan edition. Galaxy S20 FE will come with a Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990, depending on the region; both are 5G compatible but have to wait and see how Samsung launches it. It will come up with a 6.5inch Super AMOLED display having FullHD+ resolution. It may have a 120Hz refresh rate but no confirmations yet.
Talking about cameras, it is to come with 3 cameras on the rear side; 12MP f/1.8 primary wide camera, 12 MP f/2.2 123˚ Ultra-wide camera, and another 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Also, they are with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It will have a 32MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
It holds a Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an IP68 dust/water resistant certification. The phone will be powered by a 4500mAh battery and runs on Android 10 out of the box. As Samsung promised in its previous Unpacked event, they are going to provide 3 years of Android updates.
